Most of the leaders and parents I work with don't have 2 to 3 years to give. So we work on the part that comes first: catching stress while it's still stress, before it turns into burnout.
I'm Jelena. I spent more than 17 years in corporate life, I'm a mum of two, and I burnt out at 36. Everything I teach, I tested on myself first.
The 3R Method is three simple steps you can use anywhere: in a meeting, in the car, or in the middle of a meltdown at home.
RECOGNISE what's really going on in your body and your head.
RESPOND on purpose, instead of reacting on autopilot.
RELEASE the stress, so it doesn't pile up day after day.
Stress doesn't just wear you out. It changes how you show up for your work, your family and yourself. I know, because that was me too.
After my first child, I was running on empty. Brain fog, no energy, and I still had to go back to work and hold it all together.
Then I lost my Dad to cancer. That was on top of losing my mum at 67 to a stroke. She'd had a heart attack at 48. She ran a large export company, raised two kids, and lived on caffeine and pastries at 3pm. She looked after everyone except herself.
In July 2020, during lockdown in New Zealand, I was working full-time with two small kids at home. One afternoon I sat on the living room floor surrounded by work papers and couldn't move. I was 36, and I was repeating my mum's pattern.
A friend told me, "You need to slow down to speed up." That's where the 3R Method started: Recognise. Respond. Release. I built it on myself first, then with clients, and now I teach it to leaders, teams and parents who are where I was.

Not ready for coaching yet? Start with the free 3R Toolkit below. It's a short guide to the three steps I use myself, and it takes about ten minutes to read.

I'm Jelena: mum of two, 17+ years in corporate, and creator of the 3R Method. Whether you're leading a team, running a household, or both, I'll help you:
Notice the early signs of stress before they turn into burnout
Separate the facts from the story your head is telling you
Work out what's yours to carry, and what isn't
Respond calmly instead of snapping or shutting down
Release stress from your body in minutes, not weeks
Build small daily habits that protect your energy
Feel like yourself again, at work and at home

You're the calm one at work, then you get home and snap at the people you love
You lie awake running tomorrow's meetings in your head
You push through because everyone depends on you
You feel tired and wired at the same time
You've tried the apps, the breathing and the long weekend, and you're still exhausted
You're scared you're heading where I was, or where my mum was
